A:  Hello Kate, These products go through a finishing process at the factory that uses several coats of a 99.9% solid urethane coating. The coating is cured via ultraviolet light at the factory site. This process essentially eliminates the VOC off-gassing from the finished product. The UV/EB cure process that AHF Products uses has been recently recognized as having significant environmental benefits over traditional thermal cure processes. Measured Concentration of Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC): Less than/equal to 0.5 mg/m.
