A:  You will need to purchase the non-duct filters separately.

A:  Yes, you can install this unit non ducted.

A:  This is a convertible range hood. It can be ducted or non-ducted. When the installation occurred, the installer may have not been clear on steps 6 -10 of the installation instructions. The air chute and baffle must be put incorrectly or the vent does not get covered for the ducted installation. Please review the instructions again, and give us call at 888-336-6151 if you have additional questions. Thank you.

A:  It is recommended that you install the hood a minimum of 17 in. above cook top. Since the hood is 7-1/4 in. high.. 17+7-1/4. your bare minimum for cabinet height above the cook top would be 24-1/4 in. So setting your cabinet at 30 in. above the cook top would work great.

A:  The height of the hood is 7-1/4" When installing, the top of the range hood should be 24-30" above the cooktop. This is to be measured using the thickest part of the range hood. For additional assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department at 888-336-3948.
