Q:The product info simply saying it lasts for 6 months isn't adequate. Time will obviously vary by how long you shower and how many people use the shower. Therefore, how many GALLONS is this rated for?

A: I would estimate probably 3 mos when we change the filter. You will know the difference. Much depends on how heavy your city chlorinates the water & shower usage.

A: it does a good job .. i bought the head at the bowling green ohio home depot .. after 6 months went back and no filter available .. no one knew when or if they were getting them in.. so went on line to homedepot .com to order one and no they said only available in store .. so they wanted me to drive 40 miles to get one .(no i did not) forgot about it and behold the next time i looked on line they had it for sale . the product is great .. there is no where to rate home depot .. maybe i almost got some kind of service from them ..

Q:Is it just a KDF filter? Not a KDF/GAC one? This is replacement filter for the Brita In-Line Shower Filtration System - Chrome, and that comes with a KDF/GAC filter.
