A:  Thanks for the question. The HC8526 Core Bit has a usable length of 17 inches, however if you will drill a slab, it may take time due to the hardness of the material. For further assistance, contact us at 1-877-BOSCH99 (1-877-267-2499) from Mon-Fri 7A-7P CST.

A:  Very easy. Just need to use a hammer drill that is powerful enough to run this bit. Just make sure there's no rebar inside the wall where you want to drill. We use this for everyday drilling through concrete, block, brick and stone.

A:  I would think so because I am an Electrical Contractor and have used our bit on 8" Concrete Foundation Walls.and the results were nice clean holes for our running conduit thru, after many uses the bit still cuts with No Problem. Best of Luck Joe J.E.B Electric, Inc. (303) 472-1871

A:  It can but the drill may end up hurting an arm when it catches on ya. Don’t push to hard and let the bit do the work. Go slow and be patient. It may damage bit as well.

A:  You can buy core bit with or with out extension that would attach it to your drill. I don't know which you bought. I buy mine with the correct length and type of extension that I want because the core bit can be hard to unscrew from the extension. The pilot bit is replaceable.
