A:  The drain is 3.5". We are pleased with this sink. It is beautiful and virtually maintainence free!

A:  Hi. First let me say, I love this sink. I am not at home, but to my best guess, the drain would be 3.5. It did not seem any larger than the standard size. They are both the same. My other advice would be to put the faucet where the divide is so that you can easily run water to both sides. I put mine in front of the larger side drain, and I have to pull the hose down to get water in the disposal small side. I hope this helped and ask any more questions if you need. P.S. A:  I have not had a problem with water stains. I clean my sink with Ajax dish detergent and wipe with dry.
