A:  Garbage disposals weigh a lot and the silgranit, while strong, could crack as a result of this extra weight and torque on the thin material.

Q:I purchasd and installed this sink in 2019. It's been wonderful! This week a crack has appeared along the back edge. Is this covered under the warranty?
