A:  I’d say yes, with proper supports. However I think a large pot would be more suitable.

A:  Made of wood, looks like pine. Did not pay much attention as I put additional coats of waterproofing sealant throughout before putting plastic linier inside box area. To prevent wooden leg rot, placed on bricks to keep legs out of dirt/mud.

A:  Possibly. It's cedar so it has a natural protection that other woods do not but it may be a good idea to put some sort of wood preservative on it. I may do that myself this fall when the growing season is over.

A:  The wood is sealed you can tell by the finish of it.

A:  I am not sure what the material exactly but they do make other planting type containers made of the same material that you can buy seperately. Coincidently it feels like the same type of material that they make the recycled material used for shopping bags sold in one of the well known chain stores that kind of put Kmart out of business. A friend of mine who does gardening as a second job loves the new way to do gardening with the liners as they have handles which makes them easy to pick up and move.

A:  depends on bag size, we used four small bags

A:  I'm looking at buying this, too. And have the same question. I noticed the description does say 7.5 cubic feet of planting space, so I calculated that equal 56.1 gallons. So, if the soil is sold by the gallon, you need 56. If the soil is sold the cubic foot you need 7.5 cubic feet.

A:  I had purchased potting soil made especially for gardens and the bags were 64CU FT and I think I used one bag per(the garden mix I used was infused with plant food and made to hold moisture) So I don't know if it is different than a regular bag of soil. But I bought 10 bags and filled 2 planters and 6 buckets for my tomato plants.
