A: Technically yes, but you would have to use several connectors and probably a bunch of duct tape. Just go to a rental store and rent a pump.

A: I own one of these and I can't imagine it pumping 40 or 50 gallons up 8 or 10 feet. Maybe it could without burning out. Maybe your imagination is better than mine.
This pump is designed to make water trickle in a garden water feature. There is very little pressure; the fittings are plastic held by friction.

Q:The original pump (Little Giant) quit after 2 years. Pump size is OK but the plug is slightly too large to fit down the inside stem of the water feature. The original plug fits. Plug size isn't among the specs. Frustrating! Suggestions please?

A: The plug isn't particularly large, just a three-prong plug. I wouldn't mess with the electrical connections unless I were an expert; hey, it's water and electricity!
HD is very good about returns, on their website an Oase promises a small plug size.
