A:  Hi Joe, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can still install this door, despite the half inch height difference. It may not be as pleasing aesthetically to have the enclosure pass the fiberglass insert a the top, but it does not reduce the functionality of the enclosure.

That said, I'm happy to say that this enclosure will work for your 56" opening. The correct opening width range is 56"-59". The only difference is that your walk-through opening may be a bit slimmer and the panel overlap will be larger. The smooth side of the glass should be on the inside. Please speak with your installer to ensure they correct the wrong panel.
