Q:I have a 95" wide window so I am planning on the getting two 47 1/2' shades and doing a top mount. will there be a gap down middle with a top mount?

A:  Hello: Thank you for your question. Installing two side by side will result in approximately 1/2" to 3/4" gap between shades.

    A:  Hello: Thank you for your question. This shade type is unable to be shortened. The fabric is on a roll; therefore, you may just unroll it until it reaches the desired length.

      A:  Hello: Thank you for your question. If you are planning to mount directly to your window frame, then we suggest to provide your frame measurements. If you are mounting past your frame, then you would want to measure the width you are covering and order that width.

          Q:My window width for an inside mount is 36 1/4". If I order a 36 1/2" blind, will my local store cut it to 36 1/4"?

          A:  Hello Pat, Thank you for your question and interest in this product. The actual width of the blind listed at 36 1/2" will be 36" to fit an inside mount. As your window is 36 1/4" this may actually fit for you but could be a little snug. Should you have any trouble mounting the product I would suggest taking it in to your local Home Depot to have 1/4" trimmed off the end.

            A:  Hello Don, Thank you for your question and interest in these products. The off the shelf products do not have any type of projection brackets available so if you wanted to proceed with the double installation I would suggest speaking with your local Home Depot associate about special ordering at least the vertical track so projections will be available. This would be either the Duralite or the Magnum tracks.

              A:  Hello: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have heat transfer information for this product type. The 85% means it will block 85% of UV rays.
