Answer This Question
A: Take the shade down and find the small flat square metal end. Twist this end slowly in small increments. You will be able to feel the tension. Do not twist it too tightly. This adjusts the tension in the rod.

A: Hello: Thank you for your question. To adjust the roller shade tension, roll the shade up and hang it in it's brackets. If there is not enough strength in the spring to raise the shade, pull the shade half way down the window opening. Remove the shade from the brackets, roll up by hand then reinstall the shade. Should the spring be too strong, raise the shade to the top, remove from window and unroll several times by hand then reinstall into the brackets.
