Q:I am searching for the matching handle that is used for a double entry front door. The matching door handle looks like the one with the locking mechanism, but nothing moves on it; fastens directly to door and does not have a hole for the latch—don’t know the name of this type handle. Lock is on left side of attached photo and one I’m searching for is on right side of photo. Does Baldwin manucture it? If yes, what is part number?

    Q:Will the Smartkey reset other brands of keys or just Baldwin keys? The locks to our garage/backyard are by another manufacturer.

    A:  Baldwin Smartkey technology allows for the lockset to be re-keyed in seconds by the owner. SmartKey products can be re-keyed at the consumer level by following the re-keying instructions, but is not compatible with other brands.

      A:  Two of Baldiwn Prestige Model # 180MDHXMDL ARB 11P SMT CP can be ordered along with a dummy conversion kit, model # 83630. This kit will allow the second unit to be converted to a dummy. Please see you local Home Depot special order counter for pricing and availability.

            Q:My current door has three through holes. The two large bore holes that are offset at 5 1/2" and the one lower, small bolt hole to fasten the grip-handle with an offset of 7 7/8". I cannot find the specification for the location of these holes in the description. I need a grip-handle with a 7 3/4" to 8" drop. Thank you for any help you can provide.
