Answer This Question
A: We used Thompsons Water Seal - most definitely recommend using the water seal, and also refreshing the coat as suggested (I believe that is once a year.)

A: Protect the product by applying a water proof sealant on the wood. Sealant is a key part of your warranty and will keep the product from the elements that cause cracking and splintering .

Q:Is it possible to not put up the little sky fort part that sits above the swing area? I feel like my kids will be staring into the neighbors yard which I’m sure my neighbor wouldn’t appreciate.

A: Yes, it is possible to omit the little sky fort part. It does not have an effect on the structure of the play house. I would just turn it into a window and not install the steps up to it so you don't encourage the little ones to go up there without the actual little sky fort.

A: If you choose to not include the platform over the swing beam you MUST close the open area that it would leave so that your children could not fall out of the opening. You would be responsible for making that area safe from potential injury.

Q:How much mulch do I need for this playset?
by|Oct 3, 2019
2 Answers
Answer This Question
A: Hi Nina, The amount of mulch will depend on how big you make the area where your new swing set will sit and how deep (how high) your mulch enclosure will be. I recommend contacting Home Depot when purchasing your mulch and provide the area and depth to get the most accurate measurement of mulch.

A: I built it myself. I’d say about a case an a half with one person. Start out by separating all the pieces in in individual piles. It’s not that difficult but there is about 1500 pirates I’d say.

A: If you lay all the parts out, not that many. But if you leave it in a stack and spend twice the time searching for parts (especially when they start multiplying before your eyes) then it the beer increases and you'll have to aim for the pilot hole in the middle of your vision
