Q:Can this be planted in just the garden and not near a pond or bog? If so are there any special conditions or just plant right into the ground?
Thank you,
Darcy from Savannah

Answer This Question
A: Hi Darcy! The White Rain Lily is not just for planting in a pond or bog. We have had seeds from this plant wash into one of our goat pastures and the plants have been perfectly happy. The do love a moist condition and these "volunteers" bloom reliably the day, or so after a rain.
They will do just fine in your garden, especially in a place that is moist.

Answer This Question
A: Hi Lily,
The White Rain Lily will be fine in the 4 inch pot it is grown and planted in for the first year. You should have ample growth by the end of the season to divide it and make a new start of this plant.
By the second year this plant will have filled up the original 4 inch pot and be ready for dividing.
