A:  The term "corded electric" is a bit confusing, as it does not come with its own cord; it means that it is designed with the male 3-prong electric plug near the handle. You then connect the female end of your own heavy duty extension cord (those long orange indoor/outdoor 3-prong grounded cords) into the plug on the blower and then connect the male end of the extension cord into your exterior grounded outlet (like on your garage or house.) The nice thing about this is that you can use the longest cord you have and blow your leaves as far as it will reach! Hope this helps.

A:  You need a heavy duty extension cord for this blower. The cord plugs into the back of the blower and there is a "notch" to keep it from popping back out. I have a 100' extension that I use on it.
