A:  The Kohler color is more "rose" colored. This seat is a slightly lighter pink color. For the price it is worth trying it.

A:  Thank you for the response. However, I saw the Installation Video for this toilet seat, the two bolts have METAL thread and a special plastic head. I can not use metal bolts and nuts in my old Kohler toilet, since the bolts will fasten the toilet seat through the holes from the bowl body and into the water tank. The lower bolts and nuts will be in the water tank. I need to find a model with plastic bolts and nuts.

A:  The bolts are metal, and appear to be stainless steel. The nut is plastic. The top of the bolt where the seat attaches is plastic. This provides a sturdy mounting for the seat. We have had one of these seats in place for 6 years, and there has been no shifting of of it, nor has any re-tightening been needed.

A:  I think the two super grip bumpers keep it in position. The seat does not shift. Love it.

A:  Used a bemis color chart to find closest color match as possible, what I ordered was very close to original color

A:  The dusty rose was pretty close to our 30 year old rose colored toilet. Not exact but close enough. We also tried the pink one and it was not close at all. The toilet seat is of good quality.

A:  Bermuda Coral was used by American Standard for fixtures during the 50s and 60s. Look for the brand at the back of the bowl behind the seat. It may just say American, but that became American Standard later on.

A:  Yes - that is the brand we have throughout our house. This is the second seat we've needed to replace. The other replacement was also Bemis and fit perfectly. That is why we ordered this seat, sight unseen, from Home Depot without qualm.
