A:  Hi Kathy, thank you for your question. Our Ultra is designed as a paint and primer in one for the convenience of being applied directly without the use of a separate product, including for new doors. While it can typically be applied to a previously coated surface, I would still first prime your door with our Bonding Primer 432. This is because fiberglass is a tough to paint surface, and I can't verify what type of primer has been coated on there. Have a great day. -Michael
