A:  Hi there, thanks for the question. Behr doesn't make any products that will encapsulate lead paints. We don't recommend applying our products over lead paints. Proper preparation requires sanding the previous coating which would release the lead into the air and cause health problems. Good luck with your project! -Ronald

A:  Hi Sally, thanks for the question. Sorry to hear that you can see the brush marks and that the paint isn't leveling. When brushing, you want to make sure you're loading the brush with enough paint to appropriately cover the area, If the coating is too thin, the paint can dry too quickly and not have enough time to self-level. A:  Hi there, thanks, for the question. After an hour the paint should be dry to the touch and can be recoated after 2 hours. It does take up to 4 weeks for the paint to completely cure and reach it's full hardness. Have a great day! -Ronald

A:  Behr ultra pure white is a good option. Bright white with a tiny bit of Pearl shimmer that becomes almost undetectable when the dries but helps it keep the brilliant white look.
