A:  No, Home Depot did not carry Benjamin Moore paints.  For interior paints, Consumer reports ranks Behr paints (two types) numbers one and two, then a Sherwin Williams paint, and forth ranked is a Benjamin Moore paint.

A:  I taped the entire corner of the opposite wall to paint an accent wall after 24 hours with no problems.

However, you should be okay to tape over the new paint after letting it dry for at least 24 hours and by using a low tack painters tape that's made for freshly painted surfaces. A:  Sounds like the paint was not applied correctly. Two coats is all that was required when I applied the Behr ULTRA by brush and roller.

A:  Hi Many coats. Thank you for your question. I’m so sorry to hear you needed so many coats of paint. Our Ultra Scuff Defense Interior Paint typically covers in about 1-2 coats. Additional coats may be needed though depending on the color, surface, and application. I recommended allowing the paint to dry for 24 hours to see if that helps the paint even out and cover better before deciding if another coat is needed.
