Q:Can this product cover and contain rust?

A:  Hi there, thanks for the question. Our Ultra Exterior Paint isn't designed to cover and contain rust. The rust should be removed and cleaned before applying the Ultra Exterior Paint. Also, another suggestion would be to check out our Direct to Metal Primer and Direct to Metal Paint. Have a great day! -Ronald

              A:  Hi Amma, thanks for the question. The biggest difference between the two paints is that the Ultra Paint has better fade-resistance and a built-in stain-blocking primer and the Premium Plus has a built-in primer, but it isn't a stain-blocking primer. Have a great day! -Ronald

                A:  Hi Carl, thanks for the question. Since our Ultra Exterior Paint & Primer in One has a built-in stain-blocking primer, a separate primer is optional. The first coat will act as the primer coat and the coats after that will act as the paint coat. Have a great day! -Ronald
