      Q:I'm repainting a fence that was previously painted another color. Do I need to use a primer with this or is this a 2in1 paint+primer?

      A:  Hi Eric, thank you for your question. You do not need to use a separate primer to repaint the fence. The first coat of the self-priming Ultra Exterior Paint will be a primer coat and additional coats will build up the color and coverage. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

            Q:I'm wanting to paint a birdhouse to hang outside. Can I use bear ultra exterior flat medium base stain blocking paint and primer? Then when dries spray polyurethane on to help keep water out? Thanks for your time

            A:  Hi Kathy, thank you for your question. Our Ultra Exterior Paint can be used to paint the outside of your birdhouse. Since this is an exterior project, I recommend using our Spar Urethane instead, as it's a sealer for exterior projects that can provide a water-resistant finish UV protection.
