A:  Hi Ruary, thank you for your question. Formica's slick, glossy surface makes it difficult for most coatings to properly adhere to it. So, we wouldn't recommend applying our paints (including our Premium Plus Ultra Paint) directly onto it without priming it with a suitable primer first. We'd suggest checking with your local home improvement store for a suitable primer recommendation. Have a marvelous Monday, and best of luck with your project! -Joanna

    A:  Hi Jannet, you can use the Premium Plus Ultra Paint for the brick surrounding your fireplace. We do not recommend coating the inside of it because the paint will quickly fail if that is done. We've tested our products and found that temperatures above 140F will cause the coating to fail. -Takhari

        A:  Hi Jan, yes, you can use the Premium Plus Ultra Interior Paint on red brick surrounding a fireplace. However, keep in mind that we do not recommend applying our products over surfaces that are exposed to extreme heat (the inside of the fireplace) because it will fail. Good luck! -Takhari

              A:  Hi Cloe, Currently, BEHR Premium Plus Ultra Paint and Primer in One is available for purchase online in gallons and 8 oz. sample jars. All sizes, including quarts and five gallon containers are available at your local The Home Depot store. You can view BEHR colors online by visiting ColorSmart by BEHR at behr.com. You are able to select colors, coordinate colors and view them in a room setting. Online is not as accurate as viewing a color chip so I encourage you to visit your local The Home Depot location where all of the BEHR colors can be found at the Color Center. Finally, the best way to view color is to test your selection using a BEHR 8 oz. sample jar. It allows to consider your color in the room setting and lighting where it will be applied.
