Q:Would this be a recommend paint to use to paint a baby crib?

A:  Hi Jordan, thanks for the question. Our Premium Plus Paint isn't approved to be baby-safe, so we don't recommend using it in areas where it can come into contact with a baby's mouth, such as a crib or toys. Have a great day! -Ronald

    Q:I built a new end table with maple legs that I will paint black with Behr Premium Plus Satin. Is it necessary to prime these new unfinished maple legs or is the primer that is part of the premium Plus paint adequate?

    A:  Hi there, thanks for the question. You don't need a separate primer for painting over the legs of your end table. The built-in primer would be adequate. The first coat will act as the primer coat. Have a great day! -Ronald

            A:  Hi MTMO, thank you for your question. As it turns out, our products are not recommended for HVLP sprayers as they tend to be thicker and heavier than what is recommended for this type of machinery. Instead, we advise using an airless sprayer. Have a great day! -Lina

                  A:  Hello, thank you for your question. Our Premium Plus is self-priming and doesn't need a separate primer, unless you're painting over stains you want to cover or an oil-based coating. If so, you can use the Kitchen, Bath and Trim Primer and Sealer No. 75. Otherwise, ensure that the surface is sound, clean, dry, and scuff sanded to promote adhesion if the finish is glossy.
