    A:  Hi Mary, thank you for your question. Our Premium Plus Paint should not be used directly on metal but can be used on primed metal. Also, keep in mind that the 8 oz. samples should be painted over with the appropriate exterior paint once you have decided on the color you want to use. Have a great day! -Giovanna
