Q:Can you use bear premium Plus exterior paint and primer for ceramic tile paint over it

A:  Hi Mikh, thanks for the question. If this is an outdoor project and the tiles aren't going to be walked on, you can use our Premium Plus Exterior Paint to paint them, but since ceramic tiles are smooth and glossy, I'd recommend priming them first with our Bonding Primer. Our Bonding primer is designed to adhere to smooth, glossy surfaces. Have a great day! -Ronald

      A:  Hello, thank you for your question. Our exterior paints can be used for vegetable gardens, however, we recommend lining the inside of the garden boxes to protect from the soil, as the wet soil can deteriorate the coating faster. Have a great day! -Giovanna

        A:  Hello, thank you for your question. Our Premium Plus Exterior Paint can be used directly over water-based paint. For oil-based coatings, we recommend priming first. As you're not sure if the current paint is water-based or oil-based, it will be best to use a separate primer. Have a great day! -Giovanna

            A:  Hi Bobby, thank you for your question. You do not need to use an oil-based primer for aluminum surfaces, and you can use a water-based product if you prefer. In that case, we recommend using our Multi-Surface Primer (No .436) for the best adhesion. Have a great day! -Lina
