    A:  Hi gary, thank you for your question. No, the Premium Plus Exterior Paint is not designed to cover hairline cracks. Instead, you can use our Elastomeric Masonry, Stucco and Brick Paint.           Q:We're in NW Indiana and have clear cedar clapboard siding finished with solid stain in a medium brown gray color. Have considerable fading on the south and west sides. Best finishes for durability and minimal fading? Does sheen make a difference?

          A:  Hi BobS, thank you for your question and the helpful details about your project. Our best exterior paint to help avoid fading and weathering is our Dynasty Exterior Paint. It provides excellent fade resistance and we also have a select 10-Year Color Fade Protection color collection designed to withstand challenging UV conditions. Our Premium Plus Exterior Paint can be used to paint the outside of a brick chimney as long as the surface does not reach temperatures above 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
