Answer This Question

A:  Hello Lizzette87, Thanks for reaching out to us with your question. Our All-In-One Primer & Sealer is ideal for priming and sealing. Plus it has great hide, so it should help cover your dark colored walls quicker than with paint alone. One to two coats may be needed before topcoating to achieve complete coverage. Each gallon covers 250-400 square feet, depending on the surface's porosity. Good luck with your project and happy priming! -Joanna

A:  Hi, BlueZero. Our Interior All-in-One Primer & Sealer is probably not the best product for your project, as this is not alkali resistant. Instead, I would recommend using our Interior/Exterior Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer. Here's the link: https://thd.co/2hyZLf0. This primer can be applied on veneer plaster and has Alkali Resistance up to 13 pH. Just ask your local Home Depot associate for help, and they'll be able to point you in the right direction. If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call at 1(800) 854-0133 extension 2 and we'll help you. Best of luck with your project - Vince

A:  Hi Bill, Thanks for your question. This is a tricky question to answer without seeing the space being mentioned. However, I can provide some suggestions for various scenarios. 1) If the acoustic ceilings have been scrapped and then painted over, then our Behr 75 primer would be a great for priming and sealing the surface. 2) if the acoustic ceilings remain intact, but the surface been painted over. Behr 75 will still work fine as long as the surface is smooth (no large residual areas of "popcorn" granules). From there, we do offer a series of ceiling paints (558 Premium Plus Ceiling Paint, or 5558 Premium Plus Ultra Ceiling Paint). To speak with a technical specialist about your specific project, you can contact our team at 1-800-854-0133 ext. 2. Good luck with your project!
