Q:Do I need to seal it after? I will be using on a wood deck. Also, do I need to prime a previously painted deck or can I just paint over it?

A:  Hi Sarah, thank you for your question. We recommend priming your previously painted wood deck with our Multi-Surface Primer (No. 436) to ensure the proper adhesion. Once applied, our Porch & Patio Floor Paint is a stand-alone product that does not require a sealer. Have a great day! -Lina

        Q:I have a 10x18 treater pine wood deck with Behr solid stain on it in good shape but I don't like the color. I'm going to apply Rustoleum Rocksolid Primer on it and then I don't know what product I should use next - more solid stain or paint.

              Q:The recommendation is to use Primer before Behr Premium Patio Floor paint. Questions: 1) Without primer, how many years of durability drop? Paint start falling off in 3 years? 2) Could any exterior primer work? Thanks

              A:  Hi Sean, thank you for your question. It's hard to say how long this will last without the recommended primer being applied, as that would depend on surface conditions. An exterior primer, such as the Multi-Surface Primer No. 436 and Concrete Bonding Primer No. 880 can be used depending on surface type. Have a great day! - Randy
