The color Hailstorm should be the same in both the Dynasty and Premium Plus Paint; since the Dynasty Paint has a Matte finish, and Premium Plus is Flat, the Dynasty Paint will have a little more sheen when compared to the Flat Paint. A:  Hi molly, thanks for your question. Our Premium Plus Interior paint can be applied to a wooden stove hood provided the surface does not get hotter than 140F. If the surface ever gets hotter than this, it's best to find an alternative product that can resist the extreme heat. Have a great day! -Christina

A:  Hi Brandon, thank you for your question. For the best adhesion over oil-based paint, the surface should be sound, clean, and scuff sanded. This will ensure proper adhesion. However, if you prefer not to have to sand the glossy finish, you can use the Behr Bonding Primer No. 432, which is ideal for slick and tough-to-paint surfaces with little to no sanding required.
