A: Hi there, thank you for your question. Our Premium Plus Paint & Primer has a primer included, but it is not a PVA primer. As it turns out, our products have not been tested underneath tile adhesive, so we cannot guarantee the performance. We recommend reaching out to the adhesive manufacturer to confirm it's compatible with our water-based paint. Have a great day! -Lina

Q:This paint was used over oil based paint and it is pealing and scratches easily. Is there any way to fix this? All of our baseboards, doors and entire kitchen has paint that can be scratched and then pealed off easily. I am very disappointed.

A: Hi JStatt, I'm sorry to hear about the peeling on your project. The best way to fix the peeling is by sanding or using a conventional paint stripper to remove the loose paint. Then, clean the surface and scuff sand (if glossy) before priming with our Multi-Surface Primer to seal the oil-based paint. Once the primer is dry, you can reapply this water-based paint. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you need further help. Have a great day! -Christina

A: Hi, Had the same problem. Solution: After stripping the new paint that was applied, wipe ALL walls & trim with TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). Paint will not peel after TSP cleaning.
