The concrete should be etched until it feels like 150-grit sandpaper, and primed with the Concrete Bonding Primer No. 880 before painting. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

A:  I would assume so. Unless there is something unusual about the existing paint a second coat should be fine.  I might suggest either asking someone in the Home Depot paint department or call Behr's 800 number for professional advice.

A:  Hi Taye, thanks for the question. If the paint was applied less than 30 days ago you can go ahead and apply another coat as long as the surface is clean. If it has been longer than 30 days, it would be best to scuff sand the surface first. Have a great day! -Ronald

A:  Hi Becca, thanks for the question. Our Marquee Semi-Gloss Enamel can be used on the outside of your bee hives. It takes approximately 48 hours for most of the VOCs to leave the paint film. We don't recommend any of our coatings on the inside of the bee hive, as it might affect the bees. Have a great day! -Ronald
