Q:Best way to clean and get rid of flaky paint on exterior of house before painting
by|Aug 10, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi Johnnya. Thank you for your question. I recommend removing any flaky paint by lightly sanding the loose paint off or using a pressure washer on a low setting. Be sure to use a low setting so as not to damage the surface. Then you can clean the surface with the pressure washer as well to remove any dirt, grease, and chalk. Good luck with your project! -Joni

Q:I just built a new garden shed all from pressure treated lumber. Can this paint be used on new pressure treated lumber? Should i use a primer first?
by|May 10, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi Buck,
Thank you for writing in. Marquee Exterior Paint & Primer is an excellent choice for your pressure treated lumber shed. As you probably know, the lumber needs to dry thoroughly (about 6-8 weeks)
before painting. Priming is not required, but can be done with something like Behr Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer No. 436.
I hope this information was helpful. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions you may have. Best of luck with your project!
