Answer This Question
A: Hi Milton, thank you for your question. We do not recommend using our products on countertops. Our coatings are not FDA-approved for direct contact with food. Additionally, water exposure, food stains, cleaning, hot pans, etc., will lead to reduced durability of the paint and an unsatisfactory surface. Good luck with your project. - Alex

A: Hi Akascooter99, thank you for your question. Extended dry time may be needed to allow the deeper layers of paint to dry thoroughly after applying a second coat of Urethane Alkyd Paint before the recommended recoat time. If any paint had lifted when applying the second coat, the surface should be allowed to dry before sanding the affected area smooth, cleaning and touching up.
