Extended dry time may be needed to allow the deeper layers of paint to dry thoroughly after applying a second coat of Urethane Alkyd Paint before the recommended recoat time. If any paint had lifted when applying the second coat, the surface should be allowed to dry before sanding the affected area smooth, cleaning and touching up.
