A: Hi Brandon, thank you for your question. To prep the wood, we recommend using the Wood Stain and Finish Stripper to remove loose wood fibers on new and weathered wood. Then, use the All-In-One Wood Cleaner No. 63 and allow the wood to dry completely before coating. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

Q:Hi, can this be used for the railings and handrails of a deck/porch? The wood is all pressure treated lumber. I had conflicting information as to whether this will adhere to it or whether I need to use an oil based latex paint instead.

Q:I have a half empty 5gallon bucket that is a year old. How long does it last when opened?

Answer This Question
A: Hi there, thanks for the question. After the stain has been opened, it's hard to determine how long it will last because it depends on how much air is in the container and how the product is stored. The stain can last a year or longer if stored correctly. I'd suggest stirring the stain, and if it mixes together correctly, has the correct consistency, and has no foul smell, it should be okay to use.
