A: no

A: If the saw is made for a 7-1/4" blade with 5/8" arbor, then yes. But if the saw is made for 8", 10", or 12" blades, then the blade would be too small to cut completely through most stock. Regardless of which blade is ultimately used, be sure to observe correct rotation.

A: I wouldn't. For a miter saw, you want blades with a negative hook angle. These types of blades are usually made for and labeled that they will work on your miter saw. A regular saw blade with its positive hook angle is less safe since it tends to grab and lift the workpiece.

A: This would be a satisfactory blade for melamine. To prevent any chipout, use blue painters' tape on the cut line before making the cut.

A: This blade has carbide teeth that can still break the panels.
Avanti makes a 140 tooth blade (Model # A07140A) that HD carries that will do a much better job.

A: I used the saw blade on our new kitchen Laminate Countertop that I had to make several cuts on and the blade was perfect and did not "eat" the materials as other blades. I hope that helps.
