Q:Will this product eliminate the vibrations on the door. The other solution is to replace to door with a sound proof door

          Answer This Question

A:  Hello and thank you for choosing Auralex Acoustics! Placing absorption on the door will not keep it from vibrating. The vibrations are caused most likely by the structure of the actual room and how the door was installed. It could be just the door is vibrating, but it's also possible that the entire structure is vibrating. A studio door may in fact fix the problem that is occurring. If it is the entire structure, however, it may involve some other products and construction. I have included a link here: https://www.auralex.com/products/construction-2/ You will see all of our construction/isolation materials and guides we have to solve a room construction problem. If you have and more questions, feel free to call us at 317-842-2600.
