The dimensions of the enclosure represent the footprint you'll need in your finished corner alcove. So it will be closer to a 34 in. x 34 in. spec. If you have the space for a 36 in x 36 in base, than you can opt for our 36 in. x 36 in. x 72 in. AQUADICA GS model. Be sure you have at least a 2-1/4 in flat threshold on any base or curb you choose to build. We typically do not recommend installing third party accessories with our luxury showers, as we can not vouch for their engineering or capabilities with our thick, tempered glass. We typically do not recommend using your existing base, or a third party brand model as we can not vouch for their specs and materials.You can use a specified acrylic/stone/tiled base, a tiled curb, or install it directly to the floor for a sleek zero-threshold design.
