A: I don't recommend using it in the shower in place of ceramic tile. Over time it can absorb odors and can collect mold, similar to a shower curtain, since it is made of vinyl. It's best used as a back splash or decorative accent.

A: The tiles have a thick coating of high grade resin so although yes, you can cut using a utility knife, because of the thickness of the resin it will take several passes.

A: I had no issue cutting them and I used a pair of scissors. Pretty simple.
