    A:  Hello, There is no backing on this rug. We recommend the use of a rug pad (sold separately). This area rug is not machine washable. That information is listed on the website. Vacuum regularly and spot clean as needed. Thank you for your inquiry!

      Q:I like the sample given online with the square rug because it appears lighter with more beige colors to it. So, how do I know which color I will get, because they appear to look very different.

      A:  Hello, This rug is more of a gray than a beige. There are traces of beige. I see what you're seeing in the square image. This could be a result of sizing to put the picture online-color can vary a bit depending on how much a photo is edited, special resizing, or color variations in screen monitors.
