          Answer This Question

A:  Hello Jeremy, I'm so sorry that this happened to you! It sounds like perhaps the polish was removed from your tiles. The only finish that is put on the VCT tiles is a polish that would have been applied by the end user or installer after the material was installed, there is not a finish present on the material before installation. If this is in a commercial setting, I would recommend using the S-480 commercial floor polish. If this is in a residential setting, such as your home, I would recommend using the Armstrong Shinekeeper polish, these products will add a protective, shiny layer back onto your floor.

Q:how long before any of the white tiles start turning yellow like my current sheet vinyl?

                  Answer This Question

A:  As long as you follow proper care and maintenance guidelines and install the flooring in a temperature controlled environment, you should not face any issues with yellowing. Yellowing effects the surface of the tiles, and with this VCT line you can add and remove polish as needed to maintain the floors and keep them looking new. Answer This Question

A:  VCT tiles, are very durable floor tiles. As long as maintained and installed properly they can withstand quite a number of years to come. For installing in a residential setting, we recommend maintaining the floor by using the Once N' Done, multi surface floor cleaner and the recommended polish to add a high luster is Shinekeeper, or a matte finish would be Satinkeeper. I hope this information is helpful.
