A:  Hi Maggie, This unit is designed to attach to the shower valve installed in the wall, and cannot be attached to a faucet. You should consider an after market hand shower, (Moen, Water Pic, etc) they can be attached to your existing tub spout as long as it has a diverter and attachment point on it. Mike

A:  Hi Maggie, These showers panels can be installed pretty much anywhere. They hang on the wall much like a picture. The hoses that you connect to the shower panel would typically flexible. We recommend using a steel breaded hose when you keep a permanent pressure in the water lines. All you need is a 1/2" FPT thread for the faucet connection and then, run the hose to connect to the faucet of your tub. To answer your question, Yes. It can be connected via flexible hoses (hot and cold).
