Questions and Answers for Architectural Mailboxes Duo Spreader Plate in Graphite Bronze

A:  Hello, the Duo Spreader Plate (Item #5112B) is able to mount two of the Oasis 360 Post Mount Mailbox (Item #6300P-10) onto one post, however, due to the fact that the mailbox has a false bottom (an edge that sticks out further than the bottom of the mailbox) there must be some sort of spacer between the mailbox and the mounting plate to ensure a level mailbox. We recommend using nylon spacers that are 3/4" in length to fill the gap. In addition to the spacers, please note the length of the hardware included with your post will not be long enough for this purpose anymore. The bolts that come with all of our posts are 5/16-18 bolts, so you will need to purchase the same type of bolt (5/16-18) that are at least 2" in length. We are currently working on being able to send "kits" for this exact purpose, but have not yet brought them to market, so we really appreciate your patience in having to find the correct pieces for your mailbox project. A:  The Black Duo Spreader Plate has two sets of the bolt pattern matching the Architectural Centennial Extra Large mailbox bolt pattern: 4” x 10”. That means you could place two Architectural Centennial Extra Large mailboxes side-by-side over a 3” central post. I used a matching 3” galvanized steel post, which is sold separately.

A:  No, this model is not compatible with that mailbox.

A:  Hello, the 6300B-10 Mailbox has a false bottom, so four 1-inch spacers are needed to make it compatible with the Black Duo Spreader plate - one spacer for each mounting hole. A:  Hello, the 6300B-10 Mailbox has a false bottom, so 1-inch spacers are needed to make it compatible with the Black Duo Spreader plate. The 6300B-10 Oasis 360 Post Mount Mailbox is compatible with Architectural Mailboxes posts with model number 5526, 7516, 7507, 5105, 5525. The mailbox is also compatible with the 7540B-10 mounting plate if you have an existing 4x4 post and would like to top, side or cantilever mount it. Thank you for reaching out!

A:  No, it will not work because 6300B Oasis 360 Post Mount Mailbox has a false bottom. However, you can fill the false bottom with spacers to make it compatible.

A:  Hello, due to the false bottom of the 6300B Oasis 360 Post Mount Mailbox, the Duo Spreader Plate is not compatible straight out of the box. Using the Duo Spreader Plate to mount two 6300B Oasis 360 Post Mount Mailboxes would require spacers to fill in the false bottom – this is not included with the product.
