Q:What is the color difference between the Aged Copper and Dark Aged Copper? There is very little selection in the Aged Copper anyhow, so I may just go with the darker one. :)

      Answer This Question

A:  Hello, we are so sorry for the confusion. The Aged Copper and Dark Aged Copper are the same finish - each house number will have a slightly different variance in coloring as they are hand finished and polished to give each house number a unique look. We are working with The Home Depot to clarify that the two are the same finish. Thanks for reaching out!

Q:Are these reflective? Is the adhesive strong enough to stand up to weather?
        by|Nov 17, 2020
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  Hello, the Architectural Mailboxes Antique Brass Floating House numbers are not reflective. They do not include adhesives - although you may purchase an outdoor commercial strength adhesive separately, two screws and plastic anchors are included for wood, stucco or cement installation. The screws attach to the back of the house numbers and are inserted into your drilled holes. Thanks for reaching out!

Q:I was on chat and the page disappeared and home depot window treatments popped up. Architectural numbers bronze 4 inch. Some double like :14. We only have A 3.5 mounting surface. Willl this work?

          Answer This Question

A:  Hello, this will depend on the digits, as the mounting holes vary a little due to the nature of the digit, but we do not recommend using the 4-inch house numbers on a 3.5-inch mounting surface as the house numbers may not be able to be installed properly with enough of the surface around the mounting hardware to keep sturdy. Thanks for reaching out!

Q:I plan to put house numbers on stone. Will these Numbers or the Screws rust or cause ANY stains from weathering on the stone?
            by|Aug 1, 2020
            1 Answer
            Answer This Question

A:  Hello, the screws are zinc and the house numbers are constructed of brass so they will not rust. The weather it is subject to will make a difference, for example, if there is consistent rain or a sprinkler is constantly hitting the house numbers for years, overtime, they will change color as the house numbers are hand painted. But with proper care and maintenance, your house numbers will last for years without stains. Thanks for reaching out!

              Q:what is a floating number?
              by|Jul 25, 2020
              1 Answer
              Answer This Question

A:  Hello, the floating number can be installed flush against the surface you mount the house number to, or you can leave the screws slightly off your surface so it gives the illusion of your house number "floating" off of your wall. Hope that helps!
