      Q:How would this hose do in an Automotive Shop environment that have motor oil and other chemicals? It would be minimal contact due to hand transfer of oil residue or what spilled on the floor. I consider this due to I have access to hot water in the shop.

            A:  I never weighed it.  I bought it to periodically flush my hot water heater.  The hose is, if I remember correctly, about 25ft long.  I leave it coiled in a five gallon empty paint container and have the hose always connected to the hot water heater's drain.  I just uncoil it and stretch it just  outside of my garage.  It is not difficult to use and has remained flexible.  I do not find it difficult to use.  I flush the hot water heater 3 times a year.

                    Q:I want to run this hose up to my balcony to help with cleaning and watering of the garden.Won't be left on for weeks just a couple days when my succulents and balcony need it.Will this take the pressure without bursting?

                      A:  I've had one running up to my second floor for several years. It's always pressurized and I've had no trouble at all with it.This hose is so durable and easy to manage that we have bought 2 others and will be replacing another brand this year or next with one of these too.
