I'm replacing my current polished brass Town Square shower trim with a Town Square oil rubbed bronze shower trim kit. How do I tell if my current valve wil fit?

A: The difference between these two trim kits is which valve they use. The .521 version uses a R121 Series valve and the .501 version uses a R111 Series valve. If you handle simply rotates and cycles the water from cold to hot you have a R111 Series valve. If you have to pull the handle out an then turn it either left or right for hot and cold water you have a R121 Series valve.

Q:I have a 10-year old town square shower system, and the valve cartridge in the shower body needs to be replaced, but I cannot tell which to order. The sticker on the valve bears the following numbers: 2555, Type P, ASSE 1016, A112.81.1. What do I get?

Q:Do you have a threaded extension for the shower arm? The shower arm from my old trim kit had a male connection that went inside my wall to a female connection. Because this shower arm has a female connection I'm looking for a male to male extension.
