Q:I have an old shower with tub handles from Am Standard. I had to replace stem with the number 42001 Wnut. I just wanted to know what other handle are compatible. The numbers I have are Stem part # 42001 WNut Shower knob part# 393605 Ref# 421 Tub handles

A:  These are not American Standard parts numbers that I recognize. Please contact our customer care line at 800-442-1902 and one of our reps will probably have you send in a picture so we can identify it for you.

    Q:We are redoing our bathroom and the wife accidentally threw away the handles for the on an off water valves. The handles are american standard. I don't think that they make the hardware anymore. Are all american standard products compatibile.

    A:  Not all are comaptaible as some fixtures use different valves. You will need to contact customer service and provide your faucet model number for further assistance.
