A:  General dimensions are approximately 14 to 14 1/2 inches wide and 18 1/2 inches for elongated and 16 1/2 inches for round in length.

      A:  This toilet does not take a particular seat. A standard elongated seat should fit it properly. Is there an adjustment on your seat that you can move it forward possibly?

        Q:The American Standard toilet has 4086  and T-96 stamped in it.  Need toilet seat - can you suggest which elongated one will fit.  Approx 17 1/2 " front to back on existing one and 5 1/2" between bolts

          Q:I need to replace a toilet seat but am unsure if the color is linen or bone. Anyway to tell without taking off the seat and bringing it to a retailer?

          A:  The only other thing you could do is call our customer care line at 1-800-442-1902 and listen for the prompt for literature department. They will be able to send you out samples. Also, bone is more of a beige color and linen is more white than brown.

            Q:I have a 50+ year old American Standard toilet with a seat that has the bolts 10 inches apart. I think the number on the tank is 07073 or 07079. I can't find any seat to fit - do you still make one?
