Q:My plumber installed a model 2602 acrylic base using an expanding foam material. Is foam ok? The base is out of level about 1/2 inch, front to back, preventing water from completely draining. Is this out of level condition acceptable?

Q:Where should the bottom row of tile finish on the alcove base? Due to the large radius I can't see how the tile will rest on the horizontal surface of the base. Should it be held up to the first beveled line? Just below the cement board.
