    Q:If I buy the right size key (meant to remove aerators that are hidden inside spout) may I remove the aerator to clean it out? It accumulates sediment. Why did you discontinue this as it is only kitchen faucet that is a short style and made of brass!

    A:  Glynda, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. This particular aerator does not use a key. It will thread out for you. You may have to use pliers to remove it and cover with a cloth so it doesn't scratch. I am attaching a link of the repair parts diagram for you to see. You can also soak the head of the sprayer in a cup of white vinegar.             A:  I have the stainless steel faucet. I don't have any issues with mine, yet. I had it installed by my contractor back in May 2017. I wish I had a better answer, but I am not a professional and don't know anything about plumbing or parts.
